The first Cabbage Patch Kids were 'born' in 1976, and by the mid-80's, millions of the 'adoptable' dolls had been sold.
Cabbage Patch Kids were created by a 21-year-old art student named Xavier Roberts, and were originally made from 'soft' materials.
