From its humble beginnings over 40 years ago, the EasyBake Oven has changed to reflect modern technology, yet always been a fun toy for young cooks and bakers to learn on.

Hasbro Easy Bake Real Meal Oven
Originally introduced in the '60s, the Easy Bake Oven still offers a safe way for budding chefs to cook with their own light-bulb-powered oven. Kids must first preheat the oven for 15 minutes to prepare the oven for cooking. Then they can use the packaged mixes and follow the included instructions to make macaroni and cheese, chocolate chip cookies, or soft pretzels. Snacks are prepared with the combination spoon/spatula in either of the tin cooking pans, which kids then push into the oven's cooking chamber with the larger spatula/pushing tool. Four short beeps and one long beep sound when cooking (and preheating time) is complete. After 10 minutes in the cooling chamber, snacks are ready to be removed and eaten. The oven includes a pretend refrigerator for storing ingredients and comes with packets of macaroni, cheese powder, chocolate chip cookie mix, pretzel mix, pretzel glaze mix, and coarse salt. --Cristina Vaamonde
