The Flybar 1200 is a pogo stick with an attitude! It has a patented spring system consisting of 12 independent rubber 'thrusters' that are completely powered and controlled by leg strength and body weight. (You can make mechanical adjustments to set the height for a beginning rider).
Adjusting the Flybar system also allows you to change the feel of its springiness from 'soggy' to 'stiff' in order to keep the bounce low to the ground -- or pull out all the stops, after you've become an experienced Flybar 'rider', for an elevation potential of up to 5'!
The Flybar's high strength body is made of aluminum, which is lighter than steel, yet safer than fiberglass. It has extra-large footpads for more stability and control, and can support up to 250 pounds. Hmmm.... only for kids, you say? Pity! :-)
The Flybar is appropriate for age 14 and up, according to the manufacturer, and it feels a lot like bouncing on a trampoline ---the jumping motion is NOT 'high impact,' which makes it easy on the body, good exercise -- and a LOT of fun!
