The reworked Halo 2 vehicles have helped the game introduce itself as what could be considered the most popular console game of all time. With advances over the original game, including new Halo 2 vehicles, it has entered into a new generation of game. The new Halo 2 vehicles are only one of many additions to the exciting new the game.
One addition to the Halo 2 vehicles is the ability for them to be damaged. Now, Master Chief, or anyone else, can injure a vehicle enough to cause it to malfunction and explode. If a vehicle becomes too damaged, it will be useless, and will lie on the battlefield as wreckage. This wreckage will smolder and smoke, providing cover and new terrains to force the battlefields of Halo2 to be an evolving and ever-changing atmosphere. The ability to eject an unwitting vehicle pilot adds another dimension to the new Halo 2 vehicles. You can now hijack a vehicle and use it yourself if the current driver is... asleep at the wheel. This gives Master Chief almost unlimited possibilities, allowing him to take over almost any of the Halo 2 vehicles.

The new Halo 2 vehicles, coupled with all the other additions to Halo 2, have made it a leader among all games in the market.
